Madison Novak, adopted at birth, had a perfect life with her twin brother, Spencer. She had everything she needed; intelligence, high-paying job and was beautiful. What else is there, she would ask her confused self. Then becoming obsessed with a need to know a man she sees running on her same jogging trail. Each time seeing him, reigniting the same old nagging and unanswered question, Who Am I really, suddenly becoming her primary focus. Then asking herself ‘why am I so attracted to this one guy. Maybe it is because he apparently is not attracted to me and that is certainly a big push to ‘get over yourself’.
The two of them finally exchanging names agreeing to meet one Sunday at the trail to get better acquainted and perhaps exchange names and possibly go on a real date. Then due to an unexpected downpour of rain that day, Connor Brooks was forced to follow her to her townhome, only a few blocks away. Connor now clad in a long wrap-around towel, allowing his clothes to be dried in her dryer, he noticed a picture on her mantel, asking her how she knew his Capt. Franklin.
Madison explaining the picture was of her twin brother, Spencer. Connor only commenting “I guess it is true ever body does have a twin because he looks just like my Captain and he was adopted.
Madison now coming face-to-face with a lifelong question of her adoption and her now decision to pursue her unbelievable quest to find the answer to her nagging question ‘Who Am I’, really.
